Plasterer/ Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Location: South Coast – Chichester to Lulworth, Dorset
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, experienced and enthusiastic Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our growing maintenance team on our MOD Housing contract.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in plastering and painting and decorating, alongside a broad range of general maintenance and repair abilities. You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality repairs and maintenance across a variety of properties. We maintain approx. 4000 properties along the south coast, from Chichester, through Portsmouth, to Lulworth in Dorset.
Key Responsibilities

Carrying out plastering repairs and making good walls and ceilings.

Painting and decorating to a high professional standard.

Undertaking general property maintenance and repairs.

Completing minor carpentry, filling, sealing and finishing work.

Keeping families informed of next steps.

Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard.

Maintaining a clean, tidy and professional working environment.

Working with a scheduler to organise your daily diary.

Adhere to contract requirement for PPE usage.
We are looking for someone who:

Has proven experience in plastering and painting and decorating.

Has a broad range of general maintenance and repair skills.

Takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and a professional finish.

Is practical, organised and able to work independently.

Has good problem-solving skills and a positive, can-do attitude.

Is reliable, punctual and professional when dealing with clients and customers.

Holds a full UK driving licence and is comfortable travelling throughout the working area.
