A 2 Form Entry Primary School in Havering, London are seeking a dedicated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their vibrant and supportive primary school community in from September 2026. This will be working across KS2.

As this primary schools HLTA, you will work closely with teachers to plan, deliver, and assess learning activities across the KS2 (Year 3 to year 6). You will take a leading role in supporting pupils' learning, providing targeted interventions, and occasionally covering classes in the absence of a teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Plan and deliver learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff
• Lead small group interventions and support individual pupils
• Cover lessons as required, ensuring continuity of learning
• Contribute to assessment, tracking, and pupil progress monitoring

The Ideal HLTA:

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification ideally
• Previous experience in a primary school setting
• Strong literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills
• Ability to inspire and engage young learners
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A calm, patient and flexible approach
• Experience working in UK schools
