Job Description:

Year 6 Teacher WF9, Wakefield

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspiring Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming school in the WF9 area of Wakefield.

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching, raising attainment and preparing pupils for a successful transition to secondary school.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, identifying areas for development.
Prepare pupils for end-of-Key Stage 2 SATs.
Create a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment.
Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all abilities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers.
