ATA Recruitment is looking to appoint an experienced 360 Recruitment Consultant to join our permanent Maintenance Engineering desk, focusing on developing existing relationships and building new ones across the North West.

This is a genuine 360 role, so we’re looking for someone with a proven track record of developing new business relationships and successfully selling permanent recruitment solutions. You’ll have access to a wealth of sales data within our database, alongside warm leads generated by other Consultants operating within the sector, which will be passed over to you to convert.

Alongside this, you’ll inherit a number of established trading accounts across the North West, alongside access to PSL accounts with ongoing requirements. This gives you an immediate platform to generate placements and hit the ground running from day one.

You’ll report directly to an established Recruitment Manager with nearly a decade of experience at ATA, who will provide hands-on support, guidance and coaching as you develop your desk.

We’re particularly interested in someone who has aspirations to progress into leadership, with a clear pathway into management already mapped out for the right person.

The Role and About You

As a Principal Recruitment Consultant, you will take full responsibility for your desk from the outset, including:

• Developing strong, long-term client partnerships through a consultative and value-led approach
• Managing and growing your own client portfolio, delivering recruitment solutions clients rely on
• Identifying, attracting, and engaging high-quality candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, and direct sourcing
• Managing the full recruitment lifecycle and seeing the impact of your work through successful placements
• Using your market knowledge to identify opportunities, generate leads, and expand your desk strategically

We’re looking for someone ready to step up and further their recruitment career. You’ll bring:

• A proven track record in a 360 recruitment role (engineering experience is advantageous)
• The ability to build credible, lasting relationships with both clients and candidates
• A strong sense of ambition and motivation
• The ability to stay organised and focused in a fast-paced environment
• A desire to take ownership of your desk and shape your own career path
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
