Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and process engineering support across semiconductor fabrication and testing operations.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve manufacturing process issues, including wafer testing and production-related challenges.
• Respond to out-of-control process events, implementing appropriate containment and corrective actions.
• Monitor process performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, product yield and manufacturing costs.
• Support the development, introduction and optimisation of new manufacturing processes and products.
• Work closely with Production Supervisors, Engineers and fellow Technicians to ensure operational priorities are effectively managed.
• Analyse process variations and understand their impact on product quality and performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on process stability, yield enhancement and operational reliability.
• Support training and technical development of Production Operators and fellow Technicians.
• Maintain accurate process records, technical reports and performance information.
• Ensure effective communication and handovers between shifts to maintain continuity of engineering activities.
• Collaborate with Process, Device and Yield Engineers to support process improvement and product development.
• Promote a positive health, safety and environmental culture in line with company procedures and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Support the successful transfer of new processes into production, ensuring operational performance and yield targets are achieved.
