Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Procurement Manager to join a high-performing procurement function. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of indirect spend categories.

About the Role
In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end category management activities across a variety of indirect spend areas including financial services, marketing, sales, and professional services. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, quickly establish credibility, and manage sourcing activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead comprehensive category management activities.
- Develop and execute category strategies that align with business objectives.
- Identify commercial opportunities and drive value creation while optimising costs.
- Translate market intelligence into actionable procurement strategies.

- Oversee complex sourcing exercises and competitive tender processes.
- Develop innovative go-to-market strategies for key procurement initiatives.
- Drive commercial negotiations and manage contract discussions with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance while balancing value, risk, and service considerations.

- Build and maintain effective relationships with strategic suppliers.
- Manage supplier performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure suppliers meet business expectations and contractual obligations.

- Serve as a trusted procurement partner to business stakeholders across functions.
- Influence senior leaders and constructively challenge when necessary.
- Communicate procurement strategies and market insights effectively across the organisation.

About You
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with significant indirect procurement experience. A proven track record in category management and strong supplier relationship management skills are essential.
