Production & Maintenance Operative

Location: Ashbourne, Derbyshire
Salary: £35,492.60 per annum + Performance Bonus up to £7,094
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Production & Maintenance Operative to join a growing manufacturing team. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help ensure production processes run safely and efficiently while contributing to continuous improvements across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor a range of manufacturing and production equipment.

• Carry out daily production duties, including loading, dispatch, labelling, and housekeeping.

• Perform basic maintenance tasks and assist with equipment repairs.

• Complete production records and operational reports accurately.

• Identify and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures to maintain high workplace standards.

• Support team members to achieve production targets and business objectives.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, engineering, or industrial environment.

• A practical, hands-on approach to work.

• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.

• The ability to adapt to changing priorities and work across multiple tasks.
