Job Description:

An established manufacturing business is looking to appoint an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day production operations, develop the team and drive improvements across the manufacturing process.

This is a hands-on role for a practical and proactive manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.

• Manage daily production activities, planning and scheduling.
• Lead and develop production personnel.
• Monitor production performance, output and efficiency.
• Implement process improvements.
• Work closely with supply chain and other departments.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and compliance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support process, equipment and operational improvement projects.

You will ideally have previous experience in:

• Production Management
• Manufacturing Management
• FMCG/Food Manufacturing
• Production Planning
• Continuous Improvement
• Quality-controlled manufacturing environments

Our client is looking for someone who is hands-on, commercially aware, organised and confident leading people, with the ability to identify problems and turn them into opportunities for improvement.

Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience.
