Job Description:

Our well-established manufacturing client is seeking production operatives to join their team on the workshop floor.
 
Job Title: Production Operative
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Job Type: Full Time; Temporary Ongoing
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm; Friday 7:30am - 2pm
Location: Holsworthy
 
Responsibilities of the Production Operative:

• Assemble sheet metal components
• Knock off/shake off edges and machined (bent, cut or pressed
• Load materials into the machine and adjust to ensure accurate cutting and forming
• Monitor the machine during operation to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments
• Lift, move and carry safely large and heavy pieces of metal
• May be trained to operate a punch or press machines to cut, shape, and form metal
• Adhere to manual handling and health and safety regulations

Requirements of the Production Operative:

• Experience in a factory environment (metal works experience is advantageous
• Performing quality checks on finished products
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Flexibility is essential
• Able to carry and move heavy parts (up to 25 kg)
