Looking for a hands-on role where you can use practical skills every day?

We are looking for a Production Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in Newmarket. You’ll be involved in building and assembling wooden structures, working from drawings and specifications and using a range of hand tools.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right person.

What you'll be doing

• Building and assembling wooden structures to specification
• Following drawings, diagrams and written instructions
• Using a variety of hand tools safely and confidently
• Moving and handling materials weighing up to 25kg
• Working as part of a busy production team
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and efficient working environment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience using hand tools
• Good practical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to understand drawings and instructions
• Comfortable with physical/manual work
• Reliable and hardworking
• Full, clear UK driving licence – essential

What's on offer

• £13.00–£14.50 per hour, depending on experience
• Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
• Overtime available
• Immediate start
