Job Description:

Essential Experience, Knowledge & Candidate Attributes Required:

Demonstrable experience of leading, engaging and developing a high performing team to achieve business results, e.g. a range of weekly/daily productivity & quality KPIs gained from a Machine Tool / Precision Engineering background.

A self-starter with a strong sense of urgency who uses sound judgement to make data-driven decisions and set priorities.

Experience of managing and ensuring compliance to H&S policies and procedures.

Experience using problem-solving techniques to drive real-world improvements. (5 Whys, 8D’s etc), coupled with experience of implementing and leading Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activity.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Qualified (or willing to train) in IOSH Managing Safely.

Ability to use sound judgment and decisions based on available information.

Please note, our client does not have a skilled worker sponsorship licence therefore to apply for this role candidates must have the immediate right to work in the UK. The successful candidate will be required to work a weekly alternating shift pattern comprising of Monday to Friday 06:00 to 14:00 and Monday to Friday 14:00 to 22:00.
