Job Description:

Project Engineer

• Would suit someone from an automated / mechanical background who has broad project engineering knowledge.

Are you an experienced Project Engineer or Commissioning Engineer from an Engineering / Process background? Due to strong growth, and new projects secured, an opportunity to join an established projects team has become available. As Project Engineer, you will work alongside the wider team and support the Project Managers to ensure successful project completion.

Salary: £45,000 to £47,000

This Project Engineer job will suit:

• Proven experience within a projects or commissioning engineering based role. A process engineering background would be beneficial, but we can be flexible for the right character.
• An engineering qualification/experience is needed. Some prior experience with CAD would be useful.
• Experience with MS Projects.
• Flexible approach, enjoy new challenges and occasionally visit customer sites.

The Project Engineer job will involve:

• Manage the technical lifecycle of the project in line with internal project delivery standards and gateways. Typical project life cycle; Quotation, order placement, project definition and handover to technical engineering department, project milestone and gateway management, procurement, manufacturing, testing, installation and hand over.
• Define project briefs, understand and collate data required to deliver the project.
• Assist in the project resource planning and requirements (internal and external).
• Supplier, stakeholder and customer management.
• Ensuring technical compliance of the project to customer requirements.
• Manage multiple projects at once through varying stages of maturity.
