Project Engineer

Leicester

Days, Monday to Friday

£50,000 - £55,000

We are working with an established engineering business who are looking to appoint a Project Engineer to join their design team.

This is a varied role covering design, site work and project delivery, with the successful candidate working closely with customers, manufacturing and senior management. There is also a genuine opportunity to progress into a leadership position as the business continues to grow.

The Role:

• Producing detailed engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD
• Carrying out site visits, surveys and measurements
• Working directly with customers to develop practical engineering solutions
• Liaising with manufacturing and fabrication teams to ensure designs are achievable
• Producing RAMS and supporting projects through to installation
• Helping improve design processes and systems across the business

The Person:

• Strong AutoCAD experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of fabrication and sheet metal work
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable dealing directly with customers and site teams
• A hands-on approach with the ambition to progress into a leadership role
