Project Manager

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join a well-established contractor delivering a range of general civils projects across the North East. This permanent position offers long-term career prospects within a busy and growing organisation.
The Company
A reputable civil engineering contractor with a strong regional presence and a proven track record in the successful delivery of infrastructure and general civils schemes. Projects typically include roads, drainage, utilities, earthworks and associated civil engineering works.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initial planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget. Duties will include programme management, client liaison, subcontractor coordination, commercial awareness and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Experience Required
Applicants should have previous experience in a Project Manager role within the civil engineering sector, ideally covering general civils projects. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects efficiently. Relevant industry qualifications and a full UK driving licence are preferred.
