About the Role
Our client, a well-established and NSI-approved provider of fire and security solutions, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major new installation contract.
Crucially, while the office is based in Chippenham, this role requires the candidate to be located on the M4 corridor or in and around Greater London to effectively manage the site coverage and travel requirements of this large-scale rollout.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full end-to-end project lifecycle - from initiation and planning through to delivery and handover.
Oversee fire and security projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Lead and coordinate the installation team, as well as manage subcontract labour.
Conduct site visits across the M4 corridor and Greater London, providing hands-on support and troubleshooting on-site.
Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders.
Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction throughout each project.
Requirements:
Proven project management experience within the fire and security sector.
Strong knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
Willingness to travel extensively across the M4 corridor and Greater London, with occasional visits to the Chippenham office.
Full, valid UK driving licence.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Work closely with installation teams to track project progress and budget.
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
Provide on-site support and resolve any technical or logistical issues.
Keep stakeholders informed with clear, regular updates.
Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and quality standards.
