Job Description:

Location: Rugby Hours: 37 hours per week Contract: Temporary – 24 August 2026 to 24 November 2026 Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm DBS: Basic DBS required

### The Role

We are recruiting for a Project Officer to join a busy public-sector team in Rugby on an initial three-month temporary contract.
This is a varied role supporting the effective coordination and delivery of projects, working with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure activities are progressed efficiently and deadlines are met.

### Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of projects
• Monitor project actions, timescales and progress
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation
• Prepare reports, updates and other project information
• Coordinate meetings and follow up agreed actions
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Identify issues or delays and escalate where appropriate
• Provide general administrative and project support as required

### About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous project support, project officer or similar experience Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities Has strong written and verbal communication skills Is confident working with a range of stakeholders Has good IT and Microsoft Office skills Can work independently and as part of a team
