The Role

We are seeking an ambitious and relationship-driven Property Business Development Manager (Commercial Mortgages) to join their growing team.

In this role, you will work closely with property investors, developers, homebuyers, and businesses across the UK, understanding their financial objectives and structuring bespoke funding solutions that meet their needs.

You’ll provide expert guidance throughout the lending journey, comparing lenders, negotiating competitive terms, and ensuring transactions are managed efficiently from initial enquiry through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Identify opportunities to deliver tailored finance solutions.
• Structure and arrange residential and commercial funding packages.
• Advise clients on the most suitable lending options based on their objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end lending process, from initial consultation through to approval and completion.
• Develop a strong understanding of lender criteria, credit policies, and finance structuring.
• Support clients with complex funding requirements
• Assist clients where traditional lending may not be suitable, including time-sensitive acquisitions, non-standard properties, refinancing, and value-add investment opportunities.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience through proactive communication and expert advic

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of 12 months’ experience within financial services.
• Previous experience as a Mortgage Adviser, Commercial Finance Broker, Property Finance Specialist, or in a similar lending role.
• Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial mortgage products.
• Business development, sales, or relationship management experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build long-lasting client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases through to completion.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach with a passion for delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
