Property Surveyor

6 Month Contract

Part Time- 22.5 hours per week

£46,272- Pro rated

A local housing association are looking for an experienced Housing Repairs & Asset Management Professional to join their Property & Compliance team on an initial 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and inspect responsive repairs, voids and larger works.
• Diagnose and manage damp, mould and condensation issues.
• Carry out pre and post-inspections and specify remedial works.
• Manage contractors and monitor quality, cost and performance.
• Undertake stock condition and HHSRS inspections.
• Produce technical reports, specifications and recommendations.
• Ensure works comply with CDM, Building Regulations, H&S and housing legislation.
• Provide technical support to residents, Housing, Asset Management and Customer Services teams.

Requirements

• Strong social housing/local authority experience.
• Responsive repairs and building maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with contractors and Schedules of Rates.
• Knowledge of HHSRS, Building Regulations and CDM.
• Excellent communication, reporting and IT skills.
• Valid UK driving licence.
