Qualifying Supervisor (Electrical)

£50,000 - £55,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Hybrid Working + Training Provided + Progression To Operations Manager

Are you a Qualifying Supervisor (Electrical) looking to step into a role where you can build something and progress into management? Do you have an electrical background and the confidence to run sites, support engineers, and deal directly with clients nationwide?


This is a permanent opportunity with a well-established specialist contractor bringing a key function in-house, giving you the platform to shape processes, take ownership, and be recognised for the impact you make.


You'll join a business delivering design, installation and maintenance services on multiple projects at once, working with a wide range of commercial and industrial clients while the company continues to grow and add headcount.


In the role you'll coordinate works from booking through to completion, brief engineers, manage on-site queries and keep clients updated, ensuring jobs are delivered smoothly and professionally across the UK.


This role suits a Qualifying Supervisor who is motivated by progression into management, taking responsibility, and helping build a team, rather than staying purely on the tools long-term.


The Role:

• Coordinate electrical works from booking through to completion, acting as the key point of contact for clients
• Based from Dudley with nationwide travel as required
• Arranging schedules, liasing with clients and organsing works
• Hybrid pattern: typically 3 days in the office, managing engineers and resolving on-site queries

The Person:

• Electrical background with 18th Edition
• 2391 - Test and Inspect
• Experience in an operational supervisor / manager type role (or strong site electrician ready to step up)
• Confident communicator, client-facing, and willing to travel nationwide
