Quality Assurance Manager

Wisbech, Cambridgeshire

Up to £85,000 package (Salary + Car allowance)

Overview - Quality Assurance Manager:

Due to internal progression, a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager has arisen.

This is your chance to join a large food manufacturing site undergoing significant investment and transformation at the senior leadership level.

You'll lead the site's quality function, driving food safety, compliance and continuous improvement while developing a high-performing team and influencing standards across the factory.

Responsibilities for the Quality Assurance Manager:

• Lead and develop the Quality team.
• Manage the site's Quality Management System.
• Drive food safety, quality and compliance standards.
• Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with operations to improve quality performance.
• Manage quality budgets and support improvement projects.
• Contribute to site-wide continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements for the Quality Assurance Manager: 

• Degree qualified in a Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry or related discipline.
• Quality leadership experience within food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, auditing and quality systems.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
