Our client is a growing drinks manufacturing business specialising in bottling and canning solutions for a range of customers, with products supplied into major UK retailers.

Engaged on an exclusive basis, we are looking to appoint a Quality Assurance Technician to support the development of site quality systems, with a key focus on gaining BRCGS accreditation.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation and development of BRCGS standards across the site
Work closely with operational teams to ensure processes are correctly implemented, followed, and continuously improved
Monitor adherence to process flows and production procedures
Carry out quality checks on incoming materials and finished products
Support the development, amendment, and maintenance of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
Assist in developing and maintaining the company Quality Manual and supporting documentation
Conduct GMP and hygiene checks throughout the production facility
Investigate customer complaints and support corrective and preventative actions where required
Assist with internal audits and preparation for external BRCGS audits
Promote best practice, food safety, and quality standards across the business
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience within a food or drinks manufacturing environment in a Quality Assurance / Quality Technician role
Experience working towards or maintaining BRCGS accreditation standards is essential
Strong understanding of food safety, GMP, HACCP, and quality systems
Degree qualified (BSc or equivalent) in Food Science, Food Production, or a related discipline
Strong attention to detail with a proactive and hands-on approach
Able to work effectively within a growing, fast-paced manufacturing environment
Strong communication and organisational skills
Positive attitude with pride in delivering high standards and continuous improvement
