Quality Inspector

Location: Stourport-on-Severn
Salary: Up to £40k
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Role – Quality Inspector

Reporting to the Production Quality Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring products and assemblies meet the highest quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Working closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams, you will carry out inspections, manage non-conformances, support continuous improvement activities and help maintain compliance with aerospace and defence quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities – Quality Inspector

• Inspect parts and assemblies against engineering drawings and process specifications.
• Conduct manual inspections using measuring equipment including micrometres, height gauges and shadowgraphs.
• Raise non-conformance reports and support investigations into quality issues.
• Generate and maintain FAIR documentation.
• Carry out operator compliance checks and process audits.
• Manage inspection workload to support production schedules.

Requirements – Quality Inspector

• Previous quality inspection experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience generating and completing FAIR documentation.
• CMM experience would be advantageous.
