Rail Plant Engineer – Nottinghamshire – £45,000–£50,000 + Overtime (£60,000–£70,000 achievable)

• As a Rail Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, repairing and fault-finding on a range of road-rail vehicles and specialist rail plant.
• Working across the Nottinghamshire, you will attend sites to ensure machinery is maintained to a high standard and kept safe, reliable and operational. You will diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults, carry out planned and reactive maintenance, and support the wider engineering team when required.
• This is a Monday–Friday position with significant overtime available, providing genuine potential to increase your annual earnings to £60,000–£70,000.

To succeed as a Rail Plant Engineer, you will have:

• Proven experience working on rail plant or road-rail vehicles
• A valid Personal Track Safety card (PTS Card)
• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills
• Experience carrying out maintenance and repairs on plant or heavy equipment
• A safety-focused approach and good attention to detail
• The flexibility to travel across the West Midlands
• A full driving licence
