A leading housing organisation near Tower Bridge is seeking a highly organised Receptionist (Admin & Damp & Mould Support) to join their busy Property Services team on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract.
Although titled “Receptionist”, this role is primarily administrative, with a strong focus on damp & mould case tracking, repairs coordination and scheduling. You’ll support the team behind the scenes to ensure cases progress smoothly, records are accurate, and operatives and surveyors have the information they need.
This is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, accuracy and keeping systems in order.
The Role
As Receptionist (Admin & D&M), you will:
Maintain and update the damp & mould tracker, ensuring all cases are logged, monitored and progressed
Track actions, follow‑on works, surveyor visits and contractor updates
Schedule repairs, inspections and follow‑up appointments for operatives and external contractors
Apply schedule of rates and priority times to jobs
Keep accurate records, communication logs and compliance documentation
Support the team with data entry, reporting and KPI preparation
Liaise with surveyors, contractors and internal teams to ensure timely completion of works
Assist with invoice processing and general administrative duties
Monitor progress of repairs and escalate delays or risks
Ensure CRM and internal systems are kept fully up to date
Provide light front‑of‑house cover when required (minimal)
This is a varied, fast‑paced role where strong organisation and attention to detail are essential.
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
Strong administrative experience, ideally within housing, property services or repairs
Confidence managing trackers, spreadsheets and case‑based workflows
Excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach
Ability to prioritise and manage a high volume of tasks
Experience scheduling operatives or coordinating diaries (desirable)
Understanding of damp & mould processes, repairs or compliance (desirable)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems
A proactive, team‑focused and resilient attitude
Experience supporting repairs teams, surveyors or compliance functions would be a real advantage.
