Job Description:
Love recruitment but want to use your skills to make a genuine difference?
This is an opportunity to take the skills you’ve built in recruitment and use them to develop a career within the charity and mental health sector, supporting people with mental health needs back into employment.
Multiple permanent vacancies across Greenwich, Woolwich, Bromley and Beckenham.
It’s one day working from home, with four days working across community and office settings.
Your recruitment skills transfer brilliantly. You’ll manage a caseload of around 20–25 people, supporting them with their job search, CVs, interview preparation and confidence, while matching them with suitable employment opportunities.
There is still an employer engagement / sales element – but you’re not selling anything.
You’ll proactively approach local employers, build relationships and identify opportunities for the people you support. There are no KPIs around calls or dials, although you will be expected to have regular conversations and meetings with employers each week.
You’ll also:
- Coach and support people back into employment
- Build relationships with local employers
- Match people to suitable vacancies
- Work alongside Community Mental Health Teams and healthcare professionals
- Provide support once someone starts work
There are targets around employment outcomes, alongside compliance and administration, but the focus is ultimately on helping people make a sustainable return to work.
If you’re a Recruitment Consultant or recruitment professional who enjoys the people side of the job, is comfortable approaching employers, but wants a career with more social purpose, this could be a great move.
