Refrigeration Service Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes (Field-Based)
Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 per annum + Door-to-Door Pay
About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join a growing service team operating from Milton Keynes. This is a field-based position supporting a wide range of commercial customers, with the majority of work located throughout the M25 corridor.
The successful candidate must be comfortable travelling daily around the M25, working across a varied customer base and responding to both planned and reactive service calls. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive breakdown repairs on commercial refrigeration equipment across customer sites throughout the M25 corridor.
- Service, maintain and repair cold rooms, display cabinets, chillers, freezer units and associated refrigeration systems.
- Diagnose faults quickly and carry out effective repairs to minimise customer downtime.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance visits across sites around the M25.
- Ensure all work complies with current Health & Safety legislation and F-Gas regulations.
- Complete service reports using digital reporting systems.
- Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at all times.
- Participate in the on-call rota and attend emergency call-outs across the M25 region when required.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Service Engineer.
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
- Valid F-Gas Certification.
- R290 qualification.
- CO₂ qualification.
- CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Happy to travel extensively and work across customer sites around the M25 corridor.
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload efficiently.
