About the Regional Account Manager

The purpose of your role will be to drive profitable sales growth across the London and Home Counties contract catering market by winning new business, developing strong distributor partnerships and growing relationships with key operators. You will identify new commercial opportunities, increase brand presence and work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver sales targets and support the continued growth of the business.

Key tasks

• Develop and grow profitable sales of across London and Home Counties contract catering market by identifying and winning new business while delivering regional sales, volume, margin and distribution targets.
• Build, manage and strengthen relationships with regional contract caterers, working closely with their sales teams to secure product listings, increase menu penetration, deliver product training, support promotions and ensure optimal product availability, pricing and distribution.
• Drive brand awareness and market presence by working directly with buyers and menu developers to support product trials, menu development and the successful implementation of new product launches, promotional campaigns, trade shows and regional events.
• Identify market trends, customer opportunities and competitor activity using commercial insights to develop new business opportunities and provide regular market feedback to support future growth strategies.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management and performance reporting, monitoring key regional KPIs and acting as the primary point of contact for customers to ensure excellent service and the effective resolution of commercial issues.

About You

The successful candidate shall be an experienced B2B sales professional with a strong knowledge of the London / Home Counties contract catering market and a proven track record of winning new business, growing regional accounts and delivering sales targets.

• Experience within dairy, chilled foods or premium brands would be highly advantageous.
• You should be commercially focused and self-motivated, with good planning skills as well as the ability to identify opportunities to drive profitable growth.
• An understanding of menu development, an existing regional contract catering network and the flexibility to travel.

More details

The Regional Account Manager job (ref:9106) is paying £50,000 to £55,000 plus £500 per month car allowance package.

This is a homebased hybrid role with travel required to clients in the London and Home Counties areas. Candidates should therefore ideally live within a commutable distance to London.

The working hours are Monday to Friday, standard office hours.
