£40,000–£50,000 + Car Allowance | Home-Based | Thames Valley & Anglia

Are you a wine sales professional who loves building strong customer relationships, spotting opportunities and helping customers grow?

We’re working with an established and well-regarded wine business that is looking for a Regional Sales Account Manager to join their team, covering Thames Valley & Anglia.

This is a great opportunity for someone who knows the wine or wider drinks industry and enjoys the combination of relationship management, commercial development and being out on the road with customers.

You’ll be responsible for managing and growing existing relationships with predominantly independent wine merchants, while also identifying and winning new business across your territory. You’ll get to know your customers, understand what they’re looking for and use your commercial knowledge and wine expertise to recommend products that genuinely work for their business.

The role is:

• £40,000–£50,000 depending on experience
• Car allowance
• Home-based with regular travel across Thames Valley & Anglia
• Working with an extensive and diverse wine portfolio
• Opportunity to build long-term relationships with independent wine merchants
• WSET training and development opportunities
• 25 days’ holiday + bank holidays

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience in field-based sales, account management or business development
• Comes from a wine or wider drinks background
• Has good wine knowledge and a genuine passion for the industry
• Enjoys developing existing relationships as much as winning new business
• Is commercially minded and confident negotiating
• Is comfortable managing their own territory and working independently
• Holds a full UK driving licence

Experience working with independent wine merchants and a WSET qualification would be a bonus, but aren’t essential.
