Due to an internal promotion - a fantastic opportunity has arisen to join this incredible team as a Regional Sales Manager for Scotland. 

Core Responsibilities

• Develop Sales within defined Territory.
• Be accountable for Sales and GM Budget within defined Territory.
• Promote and sell complete product range of capital equipment.
• Manage own territory in terms of customer meetings, appointments, contact, sales and budgets.
• Represent the Company at all levels within existing customer base.
• Maintain CRM system and report activity to field sales manager as required.
• Achieve maximum possible sales within defined Territory and increase profitable sales in line with UK business plans.
• Generate new business within new and existing customers for both “core” and 3rd Party Products.
• To deliver sales growth targets, maintaining and growing market share/install base.
• Maintain activity levels and momentum with opportunities through minimum in person call rate targets.

Specific Responsibilities

• Commercial - gross margins, knowledge of customer base, able to work cross-functional (between departments), awareness of competitor activities, manage and continually build opportunity pipeline.
• Technical - proactively develop and maintain expertise with packaging, bakery, slicing, labelling, inspection and meat processing equipment. Undertake a proactive approach for furthering technical knowledge and skills development through liaising with internal product specialists. Experience within the food manufacturing sector especially
  meat and dairy. Develop a deep understanding of customer operations, what their KPIs are, what their ‘pain points’ are, their budgets and their CAPEX process. Experience selling high-value, bespoke capital equipment of any type is considered relevant experience.
• General - Preparation of presentations, quotes and technical literature to support proposals. Visit customer sites to make technical presentations to individuals or groups at all levels. Liaising with internal colleagues across multiple departments (Service, Sales, CSD, and Senior Management) to develop sales, support processes, expedite quotations and attend training. Maintain the CRM/sales database, in terms of opportunities, customer details, visits and reports.
