Job Description:

Retail Survey & Shopfitting Auditor

We are looking for a flexible and detail-oriented individual to travel extensively across the UK, visiting supermarkets and retail stores. The role focuses on carrying out detailed store surveys, mapping works areas and scoping requirements for retail refurbishment, shopfitting and project development works across all store departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting in-store surveys and scoping works for retail refurbishment and shopfitting projects
• Mapping out internal and external works areas, installation locations and project requirements
• Surveying areas for machinery installations, lockers, checkouts and other project development works
• Assessing existing shelf labelling, fixtures, fittings, machinery and display layouts
• Measuring and recording label sizes, shelf types, bays, equipment locations and department layouts
• Counting and auditing shelf labels and capturing accurate department data across all surveyed areas
• Producing detailed reports, photographs, measurements and site information for project planning purposes
• Identifying potential installation challenges, access restrictions and operational considerations within stores
• Liaising professionally with store management, contractors and project teams
• Travelling extensively throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays where necessary
• Occasionally support installation and shopfitting activities following survey completion when required

About You

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment. Previous experience within retail surveying, merchandising, shopfitting, installations or construction would be advantageous. A full UK driving licence and flexibility to work days, nights and weekends are essential.
