We're recruiting experienced
Safeguarding Social Workers to join the
Strengthening and Supporting Families Teams in
Bridlington, East Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive service that prioritises high‑quality safeguarding practice, relationship‑based social work, and positive outcomes for children.
Your Role
As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you will:
- Hold and manage child protection and child in need cases
- Undertake robust assessments, planning and interventions
- Work directly with children and families to reduce risk and strengthen safety
- Contribute to strategy discussions, conferences and core groups
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children
- Record high‑quality, timely case notes and reports
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Children's Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
- Proven experience in safeguarding / child protection
- Strong assessment, analysis and decision‑making skills
- Confident working autonomously while contributing to a team environment
- Commitment to relationship‑based, child‑centred practice
