Location: Bridlington, East Yorkshire
Team: Strengthening and Supporting Families
Contract: 12 weeks initially (strong potential to extend)

The Opportunity

Are you a Qualified Children's Social Worker with a passion for safeguarding and making a real difference to children and families?
We're recruiting experienced Safeguarding Social Workers to join the Strengthening and Supporting Families Teams in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive service that prioritises high‑quality safeguarding practice, relationship‑based social work, and positive outcomes for children.


Your Role

As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you will:

• Hold and manage child protection and child in need cases
• Undertake robust assessments, planning and interventions
• Work directly with children and families to reduce risk and strengthen safety
• Contribute to strategy discussions, conferences and core groups
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children
• Record high‑quality, timely case notes and reports

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Children's Social Worker (Social Work England registered)
• Proven experience in safeguarding / child protection
• Strong assessment, analysis and decision‑making skills
• Confident working autonomously while contributing to a team environment
• Commitment to relationship‑based, child‑centred practice
