Sales / Business Development Manager
Location: Field based/Hybrid - 1 day per week in the office
Salary: Up to £75,000 + Uncapped Bonus + Benefits
 
The Company
My client is a specialist lender providing fast, flexible bridging finance solutions to brokers and borrowers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Sales / Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities, strengthen broker relationships, and support the expansion of their lending portfolio.
 
The Role
As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for generating new lending opportunities through your existing broker network, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing presence within the specialist property finance market.
 
You will work closely with introducers, intermediaries and professional contacts to identify lending opportunities across a range of borrower profiles, including High Net Worth individuals, foreign nationals and UK property developers.
 
The successful candidate will bring an established network of active brokers, a demonstrable track record within bridging finance sales, and the ability to consistently deliver lending growth.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with brokers, introducers and key intermediary partners.
• Generate new lending opportunities through your existing network and business development activities.
• Present Aspen Bridging's products and services to brokers, developers and professional introducers.
• Identify and convert opportunities involving HNW clients, foreign nationals and property developers.
• Attend networking events, broker meetings and industry functions to raise brand awareness.
• Work closely with underwriting and operational teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
• Maintain detailed records of pipeline activity and business development performance.
• Deliver against agreed lending and revenue targets.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 4 years' experience within bridging finance sales/business development.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding lending or sales targets.
• An established and active bank of broker relationships capable of generating immediate opportunities.
• Strong understanding of bridging finance products and specialist property lending.
• Experience working with:
• High Net Worth (HNW) clients
• Foreign National borrowers
• UK Property Developers
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
• Commercially focused with a proactive approach to business development.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Desirable

• Existing relationships with specialist finance brokers across the UK.
• Experience within a specialist lender, challenger bank or bridging finance provider.
• Strong understanding of property investment and development finance.
