Job Description:

Greys Specialist Recruitment are recruiting for an established corporate solutions business seeking an experienced Sales Director to take ownership of its sales function and lead the team through its next stage of growth.

This is a senior, management led position with responsibility for the performance and development of the existing sales team, alongside the wider direction of the sales function. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for setting the sales strategy, maintaining performance and ensuring the team has the structure, accountability and direction to deliver.

A key part of the role will be developing the existing sales team and creating the foundations for continued growth. You will also be instrumental in the recruitment, onboarding and development of new sales hires as the function grows, giving you the opportunity to shape the team and how it operates.

The role will include:

• Leading and managing the existing sales function
• Developing and implementing the wider sales strategy
• Setting targets, KPIs and performance expectations
• Managing pipeline, forecasting and conversion performance
• Coaching, developing and managing sales performance
• Supporting the recruitment, onboarding and development of new sales hires
• Identifying opportunities to improve sales processes and performance
• Driving new business and sustainable revenue growth
• Developing and maintaining key commercial relationships
• Supporting significant opportunities and senior level client relationships
• Working closely with senior leadership on commercial performance and growth

We're looking for an experienced B2B sales leader who understands how to manage people, drive performance and build a commercially focused sales operation.

You will need to be comfortable taking ownership, setting direction and holding people accountable, while still being close enough to the sales process to understand what is happening within the team and where improvements can be made.

Experience in a complex, relationship led B2B sales environment will be important, particularly where sales involve understanding client requirements, developing relationships with senior decision makers and positioning a value led proposition.

This could suit an established Sales Director or Head of Sales, or an experienced Senior Sales Manager ready to take responsibility for a wider sales function and step into a more strategic leadership role.

The role is home based, with regular travel across the North West.

£60,000-£70,000 basic + OTE + benefits.
