Job Description:
Our client is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Sales Lead Generator to identify and develop new business opportunities across South Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. This is a remote, field-based role offering the flexibility to manage your own diary while spending the majority of your time visiting prospective customers, building relationships and generating qualified business leads.
As a Sales Lead Generator, you will be responsible for:
- Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities.
- Visit prospective commercial customers to introduce the company's services.
- Build relationships with business owners, purchasing managers and decision-makers.
- Generate qualified leads and appointments for the sales team.
- Conduct face-to-face visits, networking and cold calling activities.
- Maintain an organised pipeline of prospective customers.
- Accurately record customer interactions and sales activity.
- Represent the business professionally at all times.
- Work towards agreed lead generation and appointment targets.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Previous experience in sales, lead generation or business development.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Experience within industrial, manufacturing, construction, engineering, recycling or waste management sectors is highly desirable
- Confident approaching new businesses.
- B2B sales experience.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Own reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to travel throughout South Yorkshire and surrounding counties.
