Sales Support Administrator

Birchwood, Warrington | £28,000 - £30,000 DOE | Full Time | Office Based

We're currently recruiting for a Sales Support Administrator to join a highly successful global organisation based in Birchwood, Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established team where you'll receive support and training while developing your knowledge of sales, customer service and technical products.

The Role

Working as part of a busy and collaborative team, you'll provide essential administrative and sales support, helping to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently from enquiry through to fulfilment.

The products are technical, so this role would suit someone who is numerical, commercially minded, highly organised and eager to learn. You don't need to know the products already, what's important is your ability to absorb information, work accurately and take a proactive approach.

What will you be doing?

• Processing and placing customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Responding to customer enquiries via email and telephone.

• Providing a professional and helpful level of customer service.

• Preparing detailed quotations for customers.

• Producing reports and analysing information using Excel.

• Supporting the wider sales, operations and production teams.

• Completing day-to-day administration to ensure orders are fulfilled smoothly.

• Working to KPIs and agreed service levels.

• Interpreting technical information, dates, designs and drawings as your product knowledge develops.

• Identifying and resolving issues, escalating where appropriate.

• Building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

What are we looking for?

We're open to candidates at different stages of their career. You could be a recent graduate looking for your first sales support opportunity, or an experienced Sales Administrator, Sales Coordinator or Customer Service Administrator looking for a new challenge.

You'll ideally have:

• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• Good numerical and analytical ability.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Good organisation and time management skills.

• The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

• Intermediate Excel skills or a willingness to develop them.

• A positive, proactive approach and the confidence to use your own initiative.

• The ability to learn technical products and processes quickly.

• A genuine desire to build a career within sales support and administration.

Experience within construction, manufacturing or a technical product environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
