Job Description:

SC Cleared 2nd Line Support Engineer
Location: Wolverhampton (Onsite)
Start Date: 3rd August
Contract: Initial 1 month contract with a possible extension
Rate: £220 per day (Inside IR35)
Active SC Clearance is essential

We're recruiting for an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our client on site in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer focused IT professional with strong Microsoft technologies experience to support users in a busy enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across Windows 10/11 environments.
• Support and administer Microsoft 365 applications and services.
• Manage and maintain devices using Microsoft Intune.
• Investigate and resolve VPN and remote access issues.
• Support end-user device deployments, laptop builds, and hardware refresh activities.
• Escalate complex issues where required and work collaboratively with wider IT teams.
• Deliver a high level of customer service while supporting users at all levels of the business.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Must hold active SC Clearance.
• Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support role.
• Strong Microsoft 365 (O365/M365) support experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.
• Experience troubleshooting VPN connectivity issues.
• Strong Windows 10/11 support skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
