School Business Manager - Croydon Primary Schools

Location: Croydon, South London
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: ASAP / Negotiable

Tradewind Recruitment is currently supporting a Croydon-based Trust to support a select number of primary schools within the partnership, as they search for an experienced and highly organised School Business Manager.

This is a centralised leadership role, working closely alongside the Central Finance Manager to support the operational, financial and administrative functions across the schools. The role will be split across three schools in Croydon working alongside a Central Finance Manager, the main responsibilities for this particular role are HR & Estates as the finance will be covered.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled School Business Manager who is confident managing multiple priorities across different school settings and able to hit the ground running from day one. The role requires a proactive, solutions-focused professional with strong experience in school operations, compliance, budgeting, HR administration and stakeholder management.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience working as a School Business Manager within an educational setting
• Be confident overseeing school administration, finance and operational procedures
• Have strong knowledge of school systems, compliance and safeguarding processes
• Be highly organised, adaptable and able to work effectively across multiple sites
• Possess excellent communication and leadership skills
• Be able to build strong working relationships with Headteachers, senior leaders and central teams
