School Business Manager – September 2026 

Are you an experienced School Business Manager looking for a new opportunity in September 2026? The Education Network is working in partnership with an excellent Special School that is looking to recruit a new School Business Manager for the new academic year. We are looking for an individual who has experience with school Human Resources Health & Safety and Facilities Management.

As the School Business Manager at this school you will be running a small team of office staff and site staff. This school requires a Business Manager who has previous experience within the education sector and understand the HR processes of Birmingham Schools. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an excellent team in a successful Special School. This school has many outstanding features, there are opportunities for professional development and the opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of young people with additional needs. You must have previous experience as a School Business Manager to be considered for this role. 

Job Role:

• Lead and manage Human Resources, Health & Safety, Facilities and Admin Support
• Delivering CPD and training to staff members
• Attend SLT and school management meetings as part of the SLT
• Act as the schools Health & Safety Lead
• Promote the high standards of the school

Ideally, you will:

• Be able to demonstrate a track record of high standards
• Have experience leading a successful team
• Want to make a difference and improve standards at school level
• Be an excellent leader and dedicated manager
• Have experience as a School Business Manager
