School Business Manager - Secondary School

Location: Stockton-on-Tees, North East England
Role: School Business Manager
Rate: Daily rate - dependent on experience
Start Date: ASAP / TBC
Contract: Temporary / Ongoing

Empowering Learning are currently working in partnership with a Secondary School in Stockton-on-Tees to recruit an experienced and dependable School Business Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced school business professional to join a supportive school environment and make a positive contribution to the effective day-to-day running of the school.

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience working as a School Business Manager or in a similar senior school administration/finance role.
• Have experience within a school or educational setting.
• Be reliable, organised and confident in managing a varied workload.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be confident working independently and as part of a wider school leadership team.
• Have a strong understanding of school administration, finance and operational processes.
• Be professional, approachable and able to build positive relationships with staff, pupils and external stakeholders.

Essential Requirements

• Previous relevant experience in a school business management or comparable role.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for and purchase an Enhanced DBS.
• Ability to provide all professional references covering the last 2 years of employment.
• Strong reliability, professionalism and confidence.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
