School Catering Assistant / General Assistant
Shifts :  Monday to Friday between 10am – 2pm / 11am – 2pm / 10am – 3pm
Area :  Across the Birmingham Area
Pay :  Weekly pay £12.71ph

We are seeking friendly, reliable, enthusiastic & experienced School Catering Assistants to support a variety of school sites throughout Birmingham and the surrounding areas for the upcoming academic year.

About the Role
As a School Catering Assistant, you will play an important role in helping to provide nutritious meals for pupils and supporting the smooth running of busy school kitchens and dining facilities.
Typical duties may include:

• Food preparation and basic kitchen duties
• Serving meals to pupils and staff
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Washing up and keeping kitchen areas organised
• Cleaning equipment & emptying bins
• Supporting the catering team during busy service periods

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Catering Assistant, Kitchen Porter, General Assistant, Food Service Assistant or similar role
• Food Safety Level 2 Certificate (we can offer training)
• Food Allergen Awareness Certificate (we can offer training)
• Safeguarding Training (we can offer training)
• Enhanced DBS certificate (we can process)
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service
