Premises Assistant – Outstanding Secondary School – Uxbridge

Temp to Perm Opportunity | Immediate Start

Loyal Blue Recruitment are working closely with an ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Uxbridge who are looking to appoint a reliable and hardworking Premises Assistant to join their site team on a temp to perm basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-run, supportive school environment where no two days are the same. The school is looking for someone practical, proactive, and dependable who takes pride in keeping a site safe, clean, and running smoothly for both staff and students.

The Role:

You will work as part of the premises and facilities team, supporting the day-to-day running of the school site, including:

• Opening and locking the school site
• Carrying out basic maintenance and DIY tasks
• Supporting with health & safety checks
• Setting up rooms for exams, assemblies, and events
• Responding to maintenance requests across the school
• Working alongside contractors and cleaning teams
• Helping maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous premises, caretaking, facilities, maintenance, or site assistant experience
• Be hands-on and confident with basic DIY tasks
• Be organised, reliable, and able to work independently
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Be comfortable working in a busy secondary school environment
• Have good communication skills and a flexible approach

Experience within a school environment would be beneficial, although not essential for the right candidate.
