Job Description:

We are currently supporting a well-regarded primary education setting in appointing an experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance, safety, and smooth operation of the school premises.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong maintenance experience who takes pride in maintaining a safe and well-presented environment.

• Fulltime, Mon - Fri
• £20 - £23 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the opening and closing of the site, ensuring security at all times
• Carry out general maintenance, repairs, and basic DIY tasks
• Monitor and maintain health & safety standards across the site
• Conduct regular site inspections and report any issues
• Liaise with contractors and external service providers
• Support with cleaning standards and site presentation
• Assist with setting up rooms and moving equipment as required

Requirements

• Must have Enhance DBS 
• Previous experience in a school site management, caretaker, or maintenance role
• Strong DIY skills (basic plumbing, carpentry, general repairs)
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Experience working within a school or similar environment is desirable
