Salary: £40,317 - £62,496 (M1 - UPS3 Inner London)
Salary will be determined based on experience and position on the Main Pay Range. The maximum salary applies to candidates with substantial teaching experience.

An inclusive specialist provision in the heart of Westminster is seeking an outstanding Science Teacher to join their dedicated team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for a Science Teacher who is committed to supporting students who have faced barriers to mainstream education and helping them achieve both academically and personally.

As a Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students with a range of additional needs including SEMH, Autism, ADHD, trauma-related needs, and challenging educational experiences.

Science Teacher Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Adapt teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs and abilities
• Build positive, trusting relationships with students
• Use restorative and trauma-informed approaches to behaviour management
• Monitor progress and contribute towards EHCP targets where required
• Work collaboratively with pastoral, SEN and therapeutic teams
• Create a safe, structured and engaging learning environment
• Support students in developing confidence, resilience and independence

Science Teacher Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate vulnerable or hard-to-reach learners
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Calm, adaptable and resilient approach

Desirable Experience
• PRU, Alternative Provision, SEMH or SEN settings
• Supporting students with Autism, ADHD or trauma-related needs
• Restorative practice or de-escalation training
• Delivering vocational or functional Science pathways
