Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Security Analyst to join our growing team in London. This mid-to-senior level role is crucial for protecting VIVATIKO's digital assets and infrastructure from evolving cyber threats. You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, analysing, and responding to security incidents, playing a vital part in maintaining our robust security posture and ensuring business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and alerts for potential threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
• Investigate and analyse security incidents, determining root causes and recommending remediation actions.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and applications.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices in line with industry standards.
• Contribute to the selection, implementation, and optimisation of security tools and technologies.
• Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees across the organisation.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle and infrastructure projects.
• Generate regular reports on security posture, incidents, and compliance for management review.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in a dedicated security operations or security analyst role.
• Strong understanding of security principles, including threat landscapes, attack vectors, and defensive strategies.
• Demonstrable experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools for log analysis and incident detection.
• Proficiency in incident response methodologies and forensic analysis.
• Solid knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security , CySA , CEH, GIAC certifications).
• Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST.
• Scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and analysis.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and processes.

Tools and Technologies

• SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Elastic SIEM)
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions
• Vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, Qualys)
• Firewalls and network security tools
• Operating systems: Windows, Linux, macOS

Work Environment and Employment Details

Location: London, United Kingdom

Salary Range: £70,000 - £80,000 GBP
