Capricorn Financial Mortgages is growing its presence across Newmarket, Cambridge and the wider Cambridgeshire region.
We are looking for ambitious, relationship-driven Mortgage Advisers who want the freedom and earning potential of a self-employed role, but with the support, structure and introducer access of an established mortgage business.
With an office in Newmarket and relationships across the local property market, this is an ideal opportunity for an adviser who wants to build a long-term client bank in a region with strong property activity, growing communities and a consistent need for high-quality mortgage advice.
This is not a cold-start opportunity. You will be joining a platform designed to help you build momentum quickly, with local introducer relationships, operational support and the backing of a recognised mortgage brand.
The Opportunity
This role is designed for advisers who want:
You will work with clients across residential, remortgage and buy-to-let lending, while developing relationships with estate agents, developers, local introducers and professional contacts across Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas.
You will benefit from:
This is a role for someone who wants to be visible locally, build trusted relationships and make the most of the opportunities available in the area.
Why Cambridgeshire?
Cambridgeshire offers a strong opportunity for the right adviser.
The region has a broad and active property market, from first-time buyers and home movers to landlords, investors, professionals and high-value clients around Cambridge and the surrounding towns. Cambridge in particular remains one of the most attractive and resilient property markets in the East of England, supported by a strong professional employment base, the university, science and technology sectors, and continued demand from buyers relocating into the area.
There is also a significant opportunity within the new-build market, with ongoing development across Cambridge, Newmarket and the wider Cambridgeshire region creating demand for advisers who understand developer-led timescales, reservation deadlines, affordability pressures, incentives, and the importance of moving quickly from enquiry to decision in principle and full application.
With continued population growth, strong local employment markets, new housing supply and a high level of property activity, there is a clear need for advisers who can provide trusted, personal and commercially aware mortgage advice to clients navigating both the resale and new-build markets.
This opportunity may be particularly attractive if you are:
We are especially interested in people who understand the value of local relationships and are comfortable getting out into the market, meeting introducers, nurturing contacts and building a reputation.
Earnings Potential
This is a self-employed, commission-only role with uncapped earning potential.
For the right adviser, there is a realistic opportunity to build a strong and scalable income stream by combining introducer-led opportunities, repeat business, referrals and proactive local relationship building.
As a guide, advisers joining this type of model should be aiming to build towards:
Actual earnings will depend on activity levels, conversion, protection attachment, client service, introducer relationship management and the ability to build a sustainable local pipeline.
This is best suited to advisers who are commercially driven, comfortable taking ownership of their performance and motivated by a direct link between effort, results and income.
