Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Location: DN5, Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term
Rate: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual learning requirements.
• Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development both inside and outside the classroom.
• Help implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and carers to promote progress and wellbeing.
• Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and participation in school life.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting.
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach to working with pupils with additional needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow guidance from teachers and SENCOs.
• A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them succeed.

To Be Eligible, You Must:

• Have the Right to Work in the UK.
• Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the online update service, or be willing to obtain one.
• Be able to provide two professional child-related references.
