SEN Primary Teacher – Wirral / Merseyside – SEN & SEND Education

Are you a dedicated SEN Teacher seeking a rewarding role on the Wirral? We are recruiting passionate and adaptable Teachers to join various special educational needs (SEN) schools across Wirral and Merseyside for both short-term and long-term assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver all areas of the primary school curriculum, adapting lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEN
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student involvement
• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons effectively, ensuring all abilities are supported and challenged
• Use innovative teaching methods to motivate and inspire pupils
• Maintain good behavioural management and discipline within the classroom
• Collaborate with colleagues, including other teachers and teaching assistants
• Stay informed about curriculum updates and develop best practices for SEN education

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised overseas teaching qualification
• Experience working within SEN settings or with SEND pupils
• Hold a fully enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, or be willing to obtain one
• Recent references covering the last two years with no gaps
• Right to work in the UK
