- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for the SEN Department Lead role
- Strong background in SEN, SEN teaching, and SEN leadership
- Experience supporting pupils with high‑complex needs, Autism, ADHD, SEMH, MLD/SLD
- Excellent behaviour management and confidence leading SEN provision
- Proven experience in a SEN setting, SEN school, or inclusive mainstream environment
- Ability to lead, coach and develop SEN staff and SEN Teaching Assistants
