We are seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive SEN school in Lambeth. This role is ideal for someone who is patient, nurturing, and experienced in supporting children with complex and varied needs in a specialist setting.

As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and therapists to support pupils across the primary age range. You will help create a structured, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every child is supported to reach their individual potential.

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with a wide range of SEN
• Support children with needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH, and learning disabilities
• Assist with the delivery of tailored lessons, sensory activities, and personalised learning programmes
• Support pupils with emotional regulation, communication, and social interaction
• Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, calm, and engaging classroom environment
• Assist with personal care where required, in line with school policies
• Prepare learning resources and contribute to EHCP targets and classroom planning
• Build consistent, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families

• Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs is essential
