Job Title: SEND TA (mainstream)

Location: Salford

Salary: £462.80 and £550 per week ECTS welcome to apply to.

The Role and School

Are you an enthusiastic, bubbly and engaging individual ready for a new Teaching Assistant role in a mainstream setting within the Salford area? The role is to cover within Key Stage 2, Year 5 class until the end of the academic year July 27. The class size is around 21 children and has the support of a Class Teacher and another TA in class.

Key Responsibilities

• Help create a positive and comfortable environment for the class, whilst also monitoring classroom management and assisting with behaviour support.
• Be proactive in your approach building relationships from day 1. 
• Be able to adapt and adjust various activities and experiences in school for the class. 
• Supporting a class within the school, showing respect and care for each student in the class whilst also showing a good level of tolerance.

Requirements

• Hold experience with children, young people or residential care background. 
• Have previous experience working within KS1 and KS2 classes.
• Have strong team-working and communication skills to work efficiently and effectively with a wider team.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
